About Us
Mission Statement
Unlike shelters OHAR - Open Hands Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue. We take in animals during crisis such as: owner is in the hospital, domestic violence cases, medically needy cases (paralyzed dogs), owner foreclosed on etc. Just to name a few.

Some of what we seek to provide for every animal in our care is:

We focus on making the maximum positive effect. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum we need. Using community driven models, we take actions that make a long-lasting difference.
